There does not seem to be a dogmatic answer to this question because the issue is that of the identity between being "in Christ" (the only means not to be lost) and baptism.
Baptism and the other mysteries are certainly means that provide assurance that one is "in Christ," but it does not seem biblically that there is an absolute identity between the two. |
